What I'm working on today

I should be working on the 18 spiderwebs I need to make for my spiderweb quilt...

My spiderweb quilt

But instead, I'm working on this thing I can't get out of my head...

color wheel in progress

Which will be a gift for a dear friend who's moving all too soon.  I'm not sure what it's going to turn into exactly, but I'm thinking a pillow.  Stay tuned tomorrow for the bookshelf miniquilt tutorial!
